There are several ways to process coffee, but the two most common methods are natural or washed processing. In this video, Richard explains the difference between the two options (and even shares his favourite!).
Natural (sometimes referred to as dry) processing is when coffee is processed with the pulp intact and then dried. In contrast, the washed process involves washing off the outer mucilage before drying.
The chosen method has an impact on the sweetness, body, and acidity of the coffee.
