Being an extreme Melbourne coffee snob I only drink the very best….and when I discovered the X Blend in Port Lincoln at Boston Bean Co what could I do….but buy more; and thats what I have been doing ever since. I love their coffee, and their service. Its superb. What more need I say. If you are not drinking their coffee, you are not drinking coffee, period ! Its like Paul Keeting once said – “.. if you dont live in Melbourne, you are camping out..” Its like that with coffee. Pedantics will claim Keatng was referring to Sydney, I know, but we all know Sydney is a dump..they have lousy coffee, so who would live there..and Keating was wrong about a few things…

Superb! We are travelling in WA for 3 months and took 2 bags with us. As we travel more it is harder to find a good coffee and so we decided we needed to order 4 more bags to get us through the trip! What a brilliant place coupled with a brilliant product! From the time I walked into their store in Port Lincoln I got such good vibes. I was greeted and spoken to by both the staff and the owners as if they knew me. Sue and Richard gave me more than the time of day and were even lovely enough to show me inside their operation! I walked out of there knowing more about coffee science as well as with a clean coffee machine that Sue graciously cleaned for me. Plus their coffee is brilliant of course! I highly recommend this place folks. Do yourself a favour and visit Boston Bean Coffee Co. for the coffee but also for the brilliant atmosphere.

What a great coffee bean roasting and coffee bar business! Although only visiting Port Lincoln for a few days we have made Boston Bean our go to place for a great coffee. We also bought two bags of beans to continue the experience at home.

This Gem is by far the best for your daily dose of caffeine on Eyre Peninsula. In fact it rivals the best that Sydney Melbourne and Adelaide have to offer. The owners, Richard and Sue Scott are highly knowledgeable in the art of coffee roasting and have a wonderful selection of blends and single origins all carefully crafted and roasted on site by fastidious owners. I come as often as I can and love the atmosphere, friendly staff and superior coffee.

This was my second purchase of Symmetry Blend. I bought some when I was on holidays in Port Lincoln and after going through our first bag, decided to order another online. Beautiful coffee and generous samples included both when we purchased Instore and online. Will definitely be a regular purchase in our house and have recommended to friends and family. I’m guessing this is a family owned and run business, came in on a Saturday morning and I think the whole family was running the show, something you don’t see at all these days but is nice to see actually. Sue was super friendly and ended up having a ten minute chat and was more than happy to recommend places to visit for a good feed in Port Lincoln. Quality of the coffee is second to none and the best in Port Lincoln. They do roast their own coffee and even do tours of their factory. They also sell bags of their coffee in the shop along with sweets and a selection of coffee accessories.

Chic little coffee spot in an unassuming area – great coffee ( and yes I’m a Melbourne coffee snob and proud of it) and nice little retail things to boot. Great staff and real passion for their craft.
